Have you ever walked into a store and been unable to find a sales associate to help you locate an item you are looking for? Or have you ever needed to get your shopping done quickly only to realize you spend a good amount of your time trying to track down different items?
The idea behind the “Find It” mobile application originated from this experience of visiting large chain stores and being unable to locate items easily and efficiently while shopping.
How the Find It App Works
GPS chips would be embedded underneath the shelves of each display item inside the store. By using the “Find It” app, the user would be pointed to the direct location of the item they are looking for in a seamless and timely manner.
Home Depot is used as an example, but this concept can be applied to many large chain stores such as Lowe’s, Walmart, Target, etc.
